“A very traditional old fashioned hotel in an excellent location on the sea front. Unfortunately we did not get the room we had booked. We booked a deluxe double or twin with sea view. Our confirmation from Expedia clearly showed a photo of the room type we had booked as did their website. We had also checked the hotels own website which also showed the deluxe sea view room and described it has having more space. “Really enjoyed the stay at the Imperial. Staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel needed a little TLC but it must be difficult in this economic environment. Hotel is well placed in the town, views over the sea and 5 minutes walk to the town centre. The only thing that was bad, was the bed had seen better days and we both got up with bad backs.”
