“We have just stayed here for 4 nights and would highly recommend. The room was very clean and had everything we needed .Even though we were on the ground floor at the back we did not experience any noise from the bar or restaurant. In fact the only noise we heard was the cars on the gravel in the car park. The food was excellent there was so much choice for breakfast. The evening menu was amazing all locally sourced food. We tried several dishes and all of them were so tasty and the portions...

“In a perfect location for our exploration of Northumberland.The room we had was excellent. Although situated on the busy A1 the room was very quiet as it was at the back of the building.We couldn’t hear any traffic noise at all. The staff were absolutely fantastic.Really friendly and very helpful. The restaurant was excellent and it was also good to be able to pick up sandwiches and snacks from the attached coffee shop for days when we were out exploring. We will definitely stay here again.”

“We had a very comfortable stay at the wheatsheaf in Swindon, staff were friendly and welcoming, a bar that was open for drinks and places to sit and relax. Our room was comfortable although window wouldn’t stay open to let in fresh air as it was a warm day outside. Our even meal was delicious with a good choice of menu. Breakfast was also good and the service was swift. a great start to our day. All in all an enjoyable stay would revisit this hotel again in the future.”

“We stayed a week & had our dog with us, were made most welcome by the owner & staff. The main dining room was excellent and newly refurbished. Our room was cleaned an linen changed several times during our stay. Breakfast was excellent and great value the service was excellent and even the dog got her sausage. There were several lovely walks for the dog within a short distance & all locals were very friendly. Lost of historic places to visit not to far to travel. Lindisfarne / Holy island....

“A área comum é razoável, a vista do quarto bonita, mas o hotel está em condições muito mal conservadas, tapetes sujos, e o pior foi o banheiro com a porta caindo, para tomar banho não podia se movimentar. Fiquei bastante decepcionada. O café da manhã foi bom e a recepção amável.”
