“Great stay, lovely rooms and great food”

“Extremely friendly and welcoming staff on reception. Shown to room and advised although at front of hotel (ground floor next to main road) it would be nice and quiet. Complete opposite discovered when retiring to bed as cars constantly go through Woburn village - a local called it the 5th lane of the M1 and we likened it to being on the hard shoulder. Also didn’t help that doors were banged late at night by others - we had to go out of our room to ask others to be quiet. We had looked forward to...

“We recently stayed at Longs Inn in Woburn for one night and, unfortunately, were quite disappointed. The property is in need of some updating and, overall, we found it looked tired, outdated and rather scruffy. Our bedroom had clearly been dusted and hoovered, and the bed itself was comfortable, but the furniture was very old and the room generally felt like it needed some investment.
