Vacations Close To Ocean Point Golf Course

We pulled up to The Ann and we were greeted by Miss Ty in valet with a smile and she was also very helpful at the front desk during checking out. Checking in was a smooth process again greeted by a friendly smile. It is located within walking distance to the river front and most of the historic district. Zack the manager in valet was so friendly and helpful with information any time we asked about things around the city. We had a one-bedroom apartment, and the styling and decor was like being in a model home very clean. The bed and bedding were extremely comfortable and made for a wonderful night's sleep. The full-size kitchen was equipped with everything (except food, but a market is close by) you needed to make a meal and was nice as we stayed 4 nights and got a little tired of eating out all the time. The unit also had a washer and dryer in it which was a bonus and they even provided the detergent. As I will be visiting Savannah again in the near future The Ann will definitely be my go-to place to stay, the staff ever single person we met was wonderful, and layout is the great.

I have traveled the world for decades and JW Marriott Savannah Riverside is the finest, best run, most interesting, most friendly hotel that I have ever stayed in. Their staff is the best, most professional, most engaging, and most helpful of any high end hotel. Everything was great. Best ever!!!

We really enjoyed our stay, even though our room wasn't quite what we reserved. We had reserved a room with a walk-in shower because my husband has disability and has a very hard time to step up over a bathtub. Well, our room had a bathtub, luckily, it was a lower tub and did have disability bars, so with my help and the bars he was able to get in to take a shower. Also, the toilet was a bit low for someone with disability to get back up off the toilet. Things to watch for if you have someone with disabilities. Other than that, we enjoyed the room and had a great river view. We did hear music in the evening because the room was right over a bar, but it did get quiet after 10pm. Only other problem from our location, that bar/restaurant received early morning deliveries, I was always woken up by the delivery truck and them unloading between 5:30 to 6am. Room was clean, staff was very friendly, and we found the bed very comfortable.

This past weekend we stayed at The Godley Manor for the first time and we are so glad we did. From the moment we walked through the front door we knew we were in a very special place. Beth warmly greeted us and toured us around. Every piece of furniture and artwork was perfect and we could tell that Beth and her family take great pride in The Godley Manor. Our room was terrifically spacious, very clean and every amenity provided. The towels are SO SOFT and luxurious. Miss Pam oversees breakfast which is plentiful and delicious. We enjoyed sitting at the long dining table and chatting with the other guests. Lastly, the location is perfect for walking to the river (20 min) and all around the historic district. The Godley Manor is our new favorite place to stay in Savannah and we will return. Thank you Beth, Pam and family for a fantastic stay.

Cutest little walk to the back of the property! Our little house was so beautiful! Loved every minute. The manager responded so fast to all questions before and during our weekend. Would love to stay again!
