Vacations Close To Oak Brook Golf Course

We were in town for the Chicago Marathon and we chose this hotel because of its convenient proximity to the race festivities. Overall our stay was good. The hotel was not ever crowded or loud. Our room was clean and spacious, but very dark and could have used a floor lamp. The bathroom was nice enough except the toilet was so close to the wall that one had to sit at an angle to conduct your business. I was disappointed to see an apparently discarded water bottle sitting behind the ice machine for the entirety of my stay. Also, for the last 2 days of my stay there was a plate and glasses left in the hallway outside someone's door. Housekeeping came through everyday and I don't understand why they wouldn't pick it up. Maybe it was a case of "not my job", I don't know. I would hope the hotel manager was doing a walk-thru of his building on a frequent basis and would have taken care of this. I've never worked in the hotel business, so what do I know? I would stay here again, but the dirty dishes being left in the hallway for days was definitely off-putting especially considering the price of the room (which was triple the normal price due to the marathon).

Nice property, Staff was pleasant and helpful. Housekeeping and little inconsistency. Overall a positive staff. Breakfast buffet was a nice plus.

Clean room. Valet service slow.

The rooms are very small windows are very dirty as you book the river view and high floors but as the windows are very dirty outside so you can’t see anything. The free parking is shown when you book but when you come they say there is no parking left. Doesn’t worth the price.

Staff was incredible. Room was clean & service was fulfilled as requested. Valet service was great.

It was a great location
