“Hotel Steenhuyse was a very nice place for me to stay on my cycling trip to Flanders. Bart was a great host. He even sat and had a nice chat with me at breakfast. My room was very large, clean, and well-decorated. Breakfast was a buffet with a variety of meats, breads, pastries, and cereals. As a cycling fan from the U.S., I couldn't recommend a hotel more than this one. It is a few steps away from the Tour of Flanders museum, and a short ride from the famous climbs of the Ronde. “Fantastic surroundings and the facilities are brilliant, especially if you are a cyclist with bike washing areas, storage, underground parking. There are washing/ drying machines and also a workshop should you have mechanical issues. Oudenaarde and Brakel are only short distances away, so ideally located. New restaurant serves great food. Christine and Guy are brilliant- nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommend and we will be staying again (after having stayed many times before!).”
