The character and cleanliness was amazing. Unfortunately we stayed in a recent heat wave and with no air conditioning it was hot but we were able to ask the front desk for an extra fan which was a life saver. Really good place to stay - quiet and easy to get everywhere. Would stay here again for sure despite the heat wave

The room and bed was comfortable and a good size. I have to say though the actual building was not to my preference and felt like a very old school or prison building with long corridors. I found it difficult to find my room due to the size of the place and the size of building. However that could just be me!! Was very good location though.

Very conveniently located as is only a short walk to the central medieval area. We (mother + teenage son) stayed in a deluxe apartment which was spacious. Kitchenette facilities also appreciated as we ate in one evening. Staff helpful and friendly. Check-in is strictly after 3pm but it was handy to be able to use free lockers on site to leave luggage so we could go off and explore after our morning arrival into Ghent. Would recommend.

We pre arranged neighbouring rooms, check in was seemless, and beds and sofas were very clean and comfortable with all additional pillows / duvets clean and accessible.
