“It was a good stay ”

“Typical mid-range, rural conference hotel. Archaic procedures that required you to head to the reception every single time that you wanted to use fitness facilities or pool. Correct, if not very friendly service. Overpriced, but decent restaurant (besides the pub five minutes walk away, the only dining option around here). Hotel had just reopened after holidays so Wi-Fi wasn't functioning for the first 24 hours. Blimey.”

“Spotlessly clean, huge bed, modern facilities. Selection of drinks to purchase too, however very expensive. Nespresso coffee maker, full size fridge, lovely bathroom make this a home from home.”

“The bed was super comfortable, the host gave us the extra towels we requested without hesitation and waited for us to check in. We reserved breakfast for 9:30 am, and came in early but the breakfast room tables were full. The host took our coffee orders so we could enjoy our coffee while we waited. Breakfast was made to order and tasty.”

“Super quiet location, rooms were beautifully done and recently refurbished. Very much liked the underfloor heating in the bathroom and super comfy bed. The communal area and restaurant were closed when we visited but there is a fab deli, 2 mins up road and linked to wider Castle Ashby estate. Overall a gem of a hotel and ideal for quiet break to relax and refresh. ”

“For the bargain price we paid (I think £57) we could not fault this hotel. Free parking and only a 17 min walk to a gig we'd booked at The Picturedrome. Comfy bed, adequate shower, lots of tea/coffee, warm.”
