“Despite the large rooms, the hotel is in dire need of a renovation. The beds are overdue to be replaced. Lots of piling on them and they didn’t have a fitted sheet. You could feel the bumps of the older mattress through the sheet that was on top of the bed. The sheet on top of the bed didn’t cover the entire mattress. It would roll up and expose the mattress in the night. I had to constantly get out of bed and pull it back over the bare worn mattress. Very poor lighting in the room and...

“Hotel is average didn't really see any hotel staff after check-in. we paid for the full buffet breakfast for 3 nights, I would suggest avoiding this if you like a well cooked English breakfast, cooked items bacon eggs sausage mushrooms all cold first day eggs sat in oil. Staff in restaurant not particularly friendly. Stayed at this hotel same time last year and I feel the standards have slipped.”

“Parking was plentiful room was spacious and comfortable and clean. Nice king bed. Restaurant had a good evening menu and a good breakfast menu . There was nothing I didn't like about our 3 night stay would definitely go back”

“Friendly staff, good pub attached with good food. Breakfast was tasty but did take a while to arrive (30mins). Room was clean, but tired and in need of some repairs (bathroom doorframe and main light fittings). Good place for an overnight stop.”
