“The room was a little on the snug side but clean, tidy and well maintained. Plenty of tea/coffee in the room, a small fridge - everything you would expect. Breakfast excellent, the bar was a nice place to hang out and the view from our room was lovely overlooking the castle. I'd definitely stay here again.”

“The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was good and the hosts could not have been more welcoming. Highly recommended.”

“Very good view of the cathedral. Carpets, fixtures and furnishings worn. Mattress was old, springs were gone and made for an uncomfortable and mostly sleepless night. Grout in bathroom missing in areas, slow draining shower, shower head needs cleaning. Staff working hard in a difficult situation.”

“First impressions of the hotel were excellent and overall it is a lovely place with generally attentive staff. All was going well and the receptionist said that we were lucky as our room was air conditioned, while others were not. We had been allocated room 6 and on opening the door there was an interesting staircase which split in two at a small landing with one set of stairs going to the bedroom, with the other leading to the shower room. “My and my friends stayed for 2 night , staff were very nice and helpful. Walking distance everything you need. Good pubs and restaurants and of course Cathedral and castle. Breakfast was excellent with amazing views. Parking is a little bit of tricky.”
