“Very good view of the cathedral. Carpets, fixtures and furnishings worn. Mattress was old, springs were gone and made for an uncomfortable and mostly sleepless night. Grout in bathroom missing in areas, slow draining shower, shower head needs cleaning. Staff working hard in a difficult situation.”

“My and my friends stayed for 2 night , staff were very nice and helpful. Walking distance everything you need. Good pubs and restaurants and of course Cathedral and castle. Breakfast was excellent with amazing views. Parking is a little bit of tricky.”

“The location was excellent, right in the city centre, with car parking less than a minute's walk away - I arrived in the early evening so finding a space wasn't a problem. The suite itself was ideal, with a separate living/dining area. The furnishings all appeared quite new and in good condition, and the level of comfort was good. “Perfectly situated at the top of Steep Hill, with a car park to pre book. Staff are friendly and helpful, wonderful breakfast. Lovely room with an excellent modern bathroom with complimentary toiletries. A great variety of restaurants close by. We tried the tapas bar Ole Ole which was excellent. Would definitely recommend and stay again.”

“The room opens directly onto the carpark, which was great as it made it easy to unload/load the car, also we could keep the door open so cool down the room (it was hot when we stayed). The staff were friendly and helpfully. Each nigh we were asked to prebook our breakfast, stating what time we wanted it, the following morning the breakfast was waiting for us perfectly cooked.”
