“Hotel does need some maintenance doing, our room had some damp in a patch in corner. flakey paint on wall in bathroom. At breakfast there was a bulb going in the main light which was flashing all the time we were having breakfast. Fire exit handle was broken in restaurant and fire extinguisher needs looking at.
Food at breakfast was very nice 👍”

“Cannot fault the Halfway House Pub. Stayed here for 4 nights..Friendly welcome shown our room by Mike. All staff friendly and helpful. Room was excellent spotless and uensuite was great.
Breakfast was very good.
Ate here twice in the evening and food was excellent. Great evening spent listening to the Sea Shanty choir.
Dog friendly..
No car park but public car park £5 for 24 hours.
Will definitely be staying again. Thanks to all staff at the Halfway House.”
