“This was easily the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Very surprised that Expedia retain it. Nothing like photos. My original room was  so bad, I was given a better one after a couple of days, but still the taps and tv didn't work properly. Various patched up fittings. Windows in very bad state. Rooms not made up each day as it was not their policy. Waste bins not emptied. Had to ask for clean bedding but not provided. Bedding in corridoors. Lifts dont work. Smelly. Patched up fittings. “The exterior of the hotel and grounds are poorly maintained and need to be tidied up. The lift to the bedrooms was grubby. The bedroom was pleasant with a nice view of the beach. The shower whilst adequate was poorly maintained in that the door rubber needed replacing which is quite a cheap thing to do but makes the shower look so much better.”

“Beautiful and cozy place with everything what you need to have an amazing stay in Newquay. My room has a breathtaking view to the sea, I was amused! Delicious and healthy homemade breakfast and the owner is a lovely person who’s always there to help you. I definetely recommend you to go there! ”

“A lovely weekend stay at the Atlantic - fab location for Fistral beach and Newquay town. Free parking is a big bonus. Very clean room and balcony view was great. Staff were super friendly and breakfast selection was excellent. Property is a little dated but so well kept - only negative was that the balcony could have benefitted from a wipe down. Would definitely stay again!”

“Amazing views, very lovely staff, easy parking, very clean and comfortably spacious rooms. Only thing to note is that if the bar / restaurant is open and music on, and it's summer and you have windows open, it can get a bit noisy on the top floor. We stayed Friday and sat night so that might also make a difference. Parents were in room on cliffside below the restaurant and was much quieter there. Five stars easily even with this!”

“Lovely owners. Nice having am area for tea, coffee & breakfast. Bed was mattress on pallets sloping to the side. So found myself headed downhill to the other side of the bed in the night!”
