“This hotel needs a complete makeover, our bath was rusty and the waste leaked causing the bathroom to flood. Very sad looking room, the whole hotel needs upgrading and decorating Very pricey for the facilities.Food ok and staff helpful, but would not return.”

“Our one-night stay was underwhelming from start to finish. Check-in took longer than expected due to the busy pub. Room 4 was tastefully decorated and had a lovely sea view, with Whitby Abbey visible in the distance, but it was a double bed. We paid an additional fee for our two dogs, but nothing was provided for them—no bowls, treats or beds. We always bring our own, but for an extra charge, we expected some kind of gesture. Unfortunately, several things in the room were not up to standard....
