“Wonderful in every aspect”

“The room was very basic (family room for 6 people) but we made do as we were only staying for 2 nights for a family wedding in the area. As soon as we arrived the host came to meet us outside in the car park before we’d even got to the pub door, which seemed a little rushed as she showed us straight to our room. She said she had tried to contact me about half an hour prior to arrival asking what time we’d be checking in, but as I was driving, I obviously did not get the message until we had...

“I was not really happy with the room I was given. I booked a normal room, but received a room for an impaired person. I was put in room 1. The shower was a wet floor shower, which was not too bad, but the bed was terrible. The mattress had collapsed and I ended up sleeping ( actually I didn't sleep) in a dip, ended up with body aches.”

“Spa was nice. Room was really nice. Staff were helpful. Nice hotel - perfect location for what we needed.”
