Vacations Close To National Stadium of Costa Rica

Very unique experience. Great staff. Super set up in kitchen. Thanks for snacks and cereal for am and coffee. The extra duvet helped when it cooled off during the night. Lovely show and bathroom set up. All in all a great over night stay.

The property was absolutely beautiful, Will maintain, and the staff was wonderful! Even though it’s a large resort, it didn’t feel busy because there are so many little areas, walking paths and Hot Springs to escape to. We will definitely be visiting again! Excellent vacation!

This was the most beautiful hotel and property I have ever stayed at! (Which I guess is reflected in the price...) Everyone was kind and lovely. The breakfast was amazing! The dinner options were excellent portions as well! Unfortunately we arrived the day before they closed the pool and hot tubs for maintenance.

Our family absolutely loved Koora Hotel. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely cared for by the staff (especially Jason who has already reached out to me in advance to understand our arrival time) and fell in love with the setting, which is nestled beautifully into the mountain forest. The service was impeccable, and the view overlooking the Monteverde cloud forest from the restaurant was truly epic. The food was so fantastic that we ended up eating breakfast, lunch, and dinner there just to sample as much of the menu as possible—the fresh tropical fruit juices and local cuisine were highlights! Our Forest Room was incredibly cozy, and the overall design of the hotel is beautiful. We also loved how perfectly positioned the hotel is. It’s a stone’s throw from the amazing San Lucas Treetop Dining experience and literally ten steps away from Natuwa Reserve, where we took a lovely tour and saw sloths up close. I can’t say enough good things about this fantastic hotel. Highly recommended!

Check-in was smooth and easy with a welcome drink. After checking in, we walked to our rooms and found it to be spacious and nicely furnished, however the interior seems a bit outdated with wooden panel walls that has a old funk. We noticed the towels and shower robes also smelling like it. Given we are in/near nature, there were plenty of bugs outside the perimeter as well as some creepy crawlers inside. There was a bug's leg on the night stand. A few days into our stay after showering, there were a lot of small looking insects that came out of the wooden panels on the floor outside the bathroom. We notified front desk and had maintenance come clean it a few times to get rid of it. They said it is common during wet seasons and I noticed they came out after I took a shower. Staff were always friendly, helpful, and nice. Breakfast is located upstairs on the second floor and they have good varieties. I especially liked the fried cheese. We thought there was a garden but we walked around the premises and couldn't find it. We did howver spot some coatis and birds while walking around. This is a small hotel located on a hill walkable to a lot of local restaurants. There is a plaza across the street that seems to be the main bus hub so if you need to make any transportation arrangements it should be easy. I like the location for the convenience. The hotel is 15-20 minutes walk to shops and restaurants near Santa Elena which we really enjoyed.
