Vacations Close To Myrtle Waves

This was me and my girlfriends first time here and we were incredibly pleased with our stay. The property was beautiful, well maintained, clean, quiet. Staff was phenomenal and attentive. We plan to make this our go to stay anytime we’re in the myrtle beach area.

Property and All Staff were Excellent Housekeeping is terrible, always asking for towels never getting facial clothes. Come from golf and needed to shower before dinner always having to ask for towels

Could have been so much better. Disappointed. The check in staff was friendly and the parking garage was a plus. However when we got to the room , we were immediately hit with a strange, musty odor and when I took off my shoes the bottom of my socks got dirty from the floor. Overall the room was ill kept with mold spots on the ceiling by the air conditioner, stained bedding, a broken closet door, a loud bathroom exhaust, and bent railing on the balcony. The photos online gave me the impression that the room would be a lot cleaner and well kept than it actually was. Aside from the disappointing room, one of the most inconveniencing things about the stay was when we wanted to exchange our towels and called room service and they told us they would be bringing us new towels and they never did. I shouldn't have to chase room service down to get new towels. I learned that they don't provide any room cleaning during the stay either. Our room overlooked the ocean, which was nice. However, it was right over the lazy river and outdoor performance area, which was distracting at times. If you want an uninterrupted view of the ocean, this wouldn't be the room for you. I was so excited to stay at the sands ocean resort, but unfortunately from this experience I don't plan on staying here ever again or recommending it to anyone else.

Not as nice as we expected for the price we paid. Overall we enjoyed the trip but the units need updating and maintenance. The staff was also pretty rude especially the parking security. They seemed fed up with tourist.

The room was fine after we got a phone in the room. One thing I will say a hand held shower would have been better in the bathroom. It didn’t have enough of wall plugs. But we enjoyed being able to walk to the beach and the view was wonderful. I really liked the parking deck and getting wet when it was raining. Overall it was good
