We had a great stay at the Carolinian. The front desk attendants were pleasant. The hotel was clean and the room was nice. We also enjoyed the pools and breakfast that's included in the stay. We will definitely book here again. If you're a nitpicker, maybe go elsewhere. If you need every drawer, piece of drywall, or anything else to be in prestine condition, you are considering the wrong place. The hotel is nearly 30 years old so it has some minor defects. None of that took away from the nice vacation we had here.

Perfect spot for a four day beach stay, it was very clean and safe. The hotel had two pools, one that was shaded. The access to the beach was so nice and close. Breakfast was included at a restaurant across the street. We loved it.
