The breakfasts were individually cooked and presented in a timely manner, with a wide and excellent selection to choose from. “Found reception a bit terse and hsd to chase up staff at breakfast on day 2 after waiting in excess of 10 minutes to order our breakfast, could have been longer if I had not chased them up. Other than these two minor events the stay was great”

“We were greeted with a handshake which is always a good start. Our hosts, Neil and Rosemarie were welcoming and eager to make sure our stay was a good one. Our room was spacious as was the bathroom and shower. We were pleased with the coffee machine and the fridge on the landing for the cold milk. “We needed somewhere to stay with our dog and this limits your choices. However, the Golden Fleece was very clean, good supply of refreshments in the room, shower was powerful and hot water plentiful. They even supplied a fan to cool the room, although it wasn't great, it shows a level of care and consideration for guests and was appreciated. The owners we met were friendly and I would definitely consider staying again if we visit the area again. Only negative is they need to remove the cobwebs...
