“Breakfast is superb!”

“This is the third time we’d stayed, previously in room 10 at the rear of the property. My wife has just retired so we thought we’d upgrade to room 5 with a balcony. The room was smart and spotlessly clean. The balcony really let it down as it was scruffy and needed a paint job and the caravan which was located below was filthy which spoilt the view. I maybe wrong but when I booked I thought breakfast was included in the price but I was informed by a member of staff that this was not correct....

“The bathroom was dirty, clearly had not been cleaned properly in some time, there was hair all over the floor, dirt build up around the shower tray and shower itself. Windows were also very dirty. The breakfast bag is not worth it as it’s not ready to go you have to wait 10mins for the hot part!”

“No checking in service at all. No prior instructions were given. We were helped into our apartment by the lady who owns the jewellers downstairs. We were woken at 6.45am on a Sunday to the sound of scaffolders and a traffic management company setting up to commence install scaffolding at 7am on the building we are in with no prior communication from the host this would be happening otherwise I wouldn't have booked there. “This is a great resort tucked away on the hillside of Chelmsform. My wife and I stayed a couple days. Will definitely return.”

“The place was very rundown we had no plug in bathroom sink, it was very noisy at night, no hair dryer, only one towel and the room needed decorating. The room wasn't serviced.We had to go and ask for tea bags and milk ect.”
