“This was our first stay at a true BnB and The Smugglers did not disappoint! The hosts are kind and welcoming with plenty of local recommendations on activities and restaurants. The location is scenic, the rooms are comfortable, and the breakfast is delicious. Would highly recommend to others!”

“The room was great. A complementary upgrade with ocean views. The reception staff were very helpful. The surrounding views and walks are breathtaking. Unfortunately our experience in the restaurant for dinner was problematic. Several items on the menu were not available, table service was weak at best. When we voice our concerns ( the following morning )management was quick to address them.”

“Staff were very nice and helpful. Coffees and teas available all day which was a lovely touch. Breakfast was really good, (compliments to the chef) and the hotel entrance is decorated nicely. However the room was dated and disappointing. Cleaniness is not a priority unfortunately. The towels were stained, the bathroom door would not close, bathroom curtain was stained, hairs in the bathroom and on one of the towels, bathroom sink had a crack in it and one of the taps was broken, cobwebs and dust...

“The Nook was very clean and presentable, the only drawback was the to & Broadband had poor connection and was unable to find BBC or ITV. Easy access to town was very important. We would happily stay again. Sinc & Anne.”
