“The key was collected from the shop serving the petrol station which I didn’t know at the time. There is a Greggs and Subway which is very handy for food etc. also the garage station is a Londis which sells items as well. The actual rooms are located behind the building of Greggs and Subway hidden away from the main public area and road. My room was clean and the bathroom was clean and functional. Unfortunately the Roman blinds at the windows you couldn’t open and close which doesn’t...

“We needed somewhere to stay with our dog and this limits your choices. However, the Golden Fleece was very clean, good supply of refreshments in the room, shower was powerful and hot water plentiful. They even supplied a fan to cool the room, although it wasn't great, it shows a level of care and consideration for guests and was appreciated. The owners we met were friendly and I would definitely consider staying again if we visit the area again. Only negative is they need to remove the cobwebs...

“The room was a good size with a good sized bathroom and walk in shower. The staff were friendly and attentive. The breakfast choice was good with generous portions. We had one evening meal which was good and the service was prompt. The location is perfect with ample parking. We would definitely return.”

“Schone kamer, alleen was de ventilator zo vies dat er weinig verkoeling van kwam. Schoongemaakt en daarna deed ie het wat beter. Wel nodig, want het was erg warm op de kamer. Boven het restaurant, met 's ochtends een uitgebreid ontbijt(warm en koud). Parkeren gratis achter het hotel. Alleen het wasbakje in de badkamer was superklein.”
