Chalets en Morchard Bishop

“Perfect for a overnight stop on our way down to Penzance, Roof was excellent as was the bed . A little noise from the busy main road but certainly not a problem. We would definitely stay here again and also dog friendly. Perfect!”

“Thoroughly recommend. Lovely rural part of Devon, the hotel is set in its own well maintained grounds, which is excellent for dog walking, our room was clean and comfortable, as was the breakfast and dining area which were both well set out, with plenty of space to accommodate dogs. Food was great, varied and plentiful. All staff were polite, efficient, and attentive, which helped to create a pleasant and chilled atmosphere.”

We thought a sofa with a coffee table would be a more relaxing option after a day of sightseeing. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The state of the beer garden is a shame. It looked really run down albeit unique with a throne at one of the tables. If you struggle with mobility, the car park is between 5 - 10 mins walk away. Not a...

“I had a really wonderful time staying here. The breakfast was very tasty, the garden was beautiful and I felt really looked after. I would definitely come back again! “So disappointed - avoid this establishment until something changes! We arrived just before 8pm and went straight to check in and have dinner in the restaurant, we were informed that the kitchen was busy and there would be a wait, which was fine, however 90mins later we still had no food and when it did come out it was lukewarm and three out of seven meals were missing something. Further to this the children’s carrot and cucumber starter looked like it had been prepared days before - We...

“Clean room and friendly staff . Lovely stay”
