“As I find stairs difficult with luggage, and no lift, staff were helpful and changed my room from 1st floor to ground. Staff were pleasant but bar service could be improved. The waiter was covering the kitchen and bar. He walked past me twice, while I stood at the bar, but I still had to open the door to the kitchen, and call, I had to ask for ice and lemon, but didn't get the lemon, it didn't seem available. Just small things really but could be improved. ”

“We stayed overnight at The Langley for a spa day and it was a beautiful experience from beginning to end. The hotel is stunning — elegant, well kept, and with a real sense of occasion the moment you arrive. We were kindly upgraded to a Courtyard Room, which was gorgeous and added something special to the stay. “Overpriced. Had a huge bedroom that was, on the whole, pretty clean. Had an issue with grime in the sink. Staff didn't seem to care or offer anything in goodwill. Breakfast was average. Views very pretty. Free parking - a bonus.”

“Location was convenient for us but the room was noisy with music playing until after 11pm on both nights. Strange smell in the room and no reading lights or fridge.”

“Wonderful hosts and the accommodation was just what we were looking for with lovely extra touches. Very quiet, rural location with plenty of places for kids to explore. Facilities as expected for glamping and private toilet/wash room a bonus. Highly recommend and already planning a return trip for longer.”

“Lovely place to stay and staff were so welcoming and helpful. We enjoyd the hearty breakfast. The location is great to travel by train in to Cardiff city centre. We will return and hopefully arrive earlier to fit in an evening meal - menu looked good.”
