“Lovely bed and breakfast in Keswick; close to restaurants. Parking is difficult on weekends.”

“We received a phone call from The Grange several hours before check-in, telling us that we could check in early if we wished as the weather was poor. This was just the start of the care and attention we found during our stay. The room was beautiful and very well appointed, the rest of the hotel (guest house seems too reductive) equally beautiful. A quiet, relaxing, place with fabulously attentive staff who were just so willing to help. The styling and attention to detail were second to...

“We arrived to a lovely friendly greeting from Suruchi, we were given a walk around of the property, offered information on things to do and places to go. We chose this as a central location that was dog friendly for the three of us to stay. Nice location, nice property and the room was clean and tidy. Would definitely use this property again on another stay in the lakes. Thank you for making our 4 night stay so memorable.”

“Moss Grove is a fantastic B&B in the heart of Grasmere. The staff were wonderful—their “we’ll do everything we can for our guests” attitude really made our stay. The hot tub photos seen during booking however, gave us the wrong impression. It’s exclusively for the suite, with no access for other guests. We brought our bathing suits, only for them to spend the entire stay in our suitcase. A massive disappointment. What did I like…the staff!!! Breakfast and location. What didn’t I like? The...

“This was the best B&B by far I have ever stayed in. The room was spotless and a very comfy bed. The full Cumbrian breakfast was delicious and plenty of it, There was also a good alternative menu aswell. But if you decide to have an evening meal you are in for a real treat. Darryl is a trained Chef and the meals he serves are amazing.”

“Excellent room; responsive staff is committed to service. Use driveway to the LEFT (downhill) of the house. Parking can be tricky in small lot, but help is available. Phone is needed for initial entry if staff is off-site (room key is in lock box and a phone call provides the code). I had a very happy and comfortable stay.”
