We really enjoyed the hotel. The only thing wrong with the room was the coffee pot and fridge were dirty, but we didn’t have intention of using them so it was fine. Everything else was perfect.

Great Stay

I will have to say I was wonderfully surprised by this property! When looking at reviews, pictures and doing research, I decided to make reservations and hoped for the best. Rooms are very clean and had all the amenities. If you wanted to cook a little something on the stove top, they had some pots for you, along with all the utensils. Also in the kitchen, there was a fridge, microwave and dishwasher. There was literally everything you needed in the kitchen. The bathroom had your soap, shampoo, conditioner and lotion. The towels were nice! The beds were very comfortable! The beds came with four pillows each and there were 2 soft and 2 firm pillows. I highly recommend!!

candlewood randomly charged me parking ($9.90) in the middle of the night. at the booking and at the check in, no mention of parking fees... yet they charged $25 deposit and check in... very bad service.

Always stay at this hotel when I visit Mobile, unfortunately the accommodations were not up to par this time around. I had a first floor room that the curtains would it close all the way so the front desk gave us giant gem clips to secure the curtains. The tub looked dirty tried to clean but old rust glue type stains that wouldn’t come out. Was unable to obtain a different room due to construction being done on property. The staff was wonderful but was a little disappointed with our room choice.

Overall the property location is amazing, there are plenty of dinning choices and lots to do within walking distance. The hotel has a warm and enjoyable entrance with the friendly ladies and gentleman up front and the holiday decor is so very pretty. Also there is free laundry which is always a plus, most hotels you have to pay for that. The only complaint that I have is the cleaning service. You have to ask at times to have your room clean and if you do just be prepared to for the head of cleaning to advise you with attitude that its the owners decision to not clean rooms one weekends and only will change your sheets on Wednesdays. Also the rooms have kitchen in them and they dont clean that either. I think the hotel is awesome but they just need to revamp whoever runs the housekeepers because they really dont do a good job. And when you ask for something you get a hard time from the head of the housekeepers. defiantly will not stay here again. and thats only because of the housekeepers.
