Great visit

The only complaint I have about this hotel is the walls are way too thin. I was told by security that they have no insulation. On the phone in my room and the guest next toes me starts yelling through the wall that I was too loud at 730am. They said they were trying to sleep and then proceeded to set off ALL ALARMS on their cell phones thinking that would annoy me. I work in hospitality so I just laughed and called security. Security then made me aware that basically no matter how loud or soft I spoke on my phone in a room that I paid for, the insulation was nonexistent and the neighbors would hear me. This isn’t a guest problem it’s a hotel problem that could have escalated. As much as these hotels charge I understand some noise is expected but to tell a guest you have zero insulation is trifling, do better!!! Thankfully security came up and moved the women to another room.

Extremely Disappointing Experience at Rio Hotel This was by far one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. Prior to being assigned the first room, I specifically requested an upgrade. Unfortunately, the room we were given had bed bugs, which was completely unacceptable and extremely concerning. Because of the bed-bug issue, we had to be moved to another room. The room we were moved to was the room that had been requested as an upgrade, but it was actually smaller than the original room and did not feel like an upgrade at all. I want to be clear that my upgrade request was made before we discovered the bed bugs and was not something the hotel provided as compensation for the situation. The second room also had a non-functioning mini fridge, adding another inconvenience to an already unacceptable situation. We were also charged incorrectly for our stay, which needs to be reviewed and corrected immediately. The pool experience was equally disappointing. A poolside food menu was prominently displayed, but when we attempted to order from it, we were told that the advertised food options were not actually available. This was extremely misleading and left us having to leave the pool area and go indoors to find food. Requested Resolution Given the circumstances, I am requesting a substantial adjustment to my bill, specifically: * A full refund for the night affected by the bed-bug incident * A full refund/reversal of any incorrect charges * An additional $300 hotel credit

The spa was a very nice and exceptional bonus. The ladies could not have been anymore helpful. The front desk upon check in was superb and professional. The room was clean and well maintained
