“Lovely New Forest pub. Very friendly atmosphere. Large clean room, comfy bed, modern bathroom. Very quiet at night. Big breakfast, varied evening meals and excellent beer. New Forest ponies on the green and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's grave two minutes up the road! Excellent value. Really enjoyed our stay, thanks.”

“The room was small and as situated at the front of the hotel quite noisy adjacent to the busy high street. There was no fridge, the air conditioning was poor and there was a noisy fan provided as compensation. We mentioned we were celebrating an anniversary when booking and at check in but no acknowledgment.
