Minet's Point Vacation Packages for 2026

This is just for the hotel, not for publication. There was a fire scare and the hotel management handled it very poorly. We kept getting the following cryptic message: "The fire alarm has been activated and the fire department has been informed. Stay calm." Stay calm? Where? In our room or outside, on the sidewalk? The audio system in the rooms is poor and, to make matters much worse, both the man and the woman who delivered it repeatedly spoke in rather accented English. Next time, please, at least ask a native speaker to deliver the news. This experience was very upsetting and, sadly, it's what I will remember about the hotel. This hotel deserves better.

Air conditioning unit in the room needed updating… the plug was malfunctioning

Really fantastic staff in an incredibly convenient location

Note that when you book with Expedia breakfast is NOT included and this was a real disappointment. The staff were excellent. The bed had the most comfortable mattress I've ever slept on.
