There is nothing more zen than soaking butt naked in a rotenburo in the woods, listening to the running stream and watching the maple leaves turn a golden hue.
This vegan nabe (Japanese hot pot) was perfect on a cold, wet spring day after a nice long soak in the ryokan's onsen.
