“Room not properly stocked with tea bags etc Dust on stand and skirting boards. Door would not open fully as got stuck on the floor. Two single beds but not a lot of room to manoeuvre around banged legs on it. kitchen at breakfast - there was no butter 2nd morning and lack of mugs. There were coffee perculators but no coffee to brew only small instant for cups. “Very friendly staff all round .The hotel needs a bit updating stairs to room ,we stayed in Apple blossom room which was spacious with a large bathroom .Mini fridge in room with fresh milk nice touch .The room was comfortable in the heatwave ,with a fan included . Felt the detail of cleaning could of been better ( big cobweb under window and handbasin cracked and behind the taps could of done with a clean ) The setting and surroundings really make this hotel a good find .Breakfast served by...

“We were attending a gig a Ludlow Castle, most accommodation was booked or expensive at Ludlow for the night of the gig so we chose to stop at Stokestay Hotel because there was a train station close that we could catch there and back. The Stokesay staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and tidy, breakfast was excellent and bar prices good so we would not hesitate to stop there again.”
