“Nice place, needs better cleaning.”

“We just spent a night at this most excellent venue. Plenty of parking, the place was spotless, the staff were charming and very helpful and the room was extremely comfortable with good facilities. Given the overnight charge to stay here and everything else we experienced, it is an outstanding venue. The golf course looks very nice too. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if the opportunity presented itself. Many thanks for a most enjoyable stay.”

“Very friendly staff all round .The hotel needs a bit updating stairs to room ,we stayed in Apple blossom room which was spacious with a large bathroom .Mini fridge in room with fresh milk nice touch .The room was comfortable in the heatwave ,with a fan included . Felt the detail of cleaning could of been better ( big cobweb under window and handbasin cracked and behind the taps could of done with a clean ) The setting and surroundings really make this hotel a good find .Breakfast served by...

“We were given a warm welcome on arrival; always found a space to park in the car park; loved the location (right next to the river). No complaints about the room, bed or en suite, with all being clean, comfortable etc. Great breakfasts provided if required. All in all, excellent value for money, and most likely where we will return to next time we are in the neighbourhood.”

“The property is 400 yrs old so expect things to be uneven. The current owners have only been there a few years so maybe they still have work to do. The bedrooms are described on the website as "stylish "....I would say plain. The bedding was clean, bathroom ok but it was difficult to get the shower to the right temperature...it was either boiling or cold. Room 5 had a frosted window but it was hot so we had it open. The room could do with a slight update....e.g. more plug sockets and a bigger...

“We received a very warm welcome from hosts Jackie and Rob and our stay was absolutely exceptional! Our room was clean, neat, well appointed, with a refreshments tray including lovely homemade cake and the folder containing menus and directions for the nearby pubs for meals was well thought out and presented. “The guest house was impeccable, with excellent communication and information regarding its location and local attractions provided even before our arrival. Truly exceptional service. Upon our arrival, everything was beautiful. The entire house was spotless and exceeded all expectations. We enjoyed a lovely country walk into Ironbridge, and convenient parking was available at the property. Our room was immaculate, offering tea and coffee, toiletries, fluffy towels and a selection of pillows...
