Vacations Close To Maui Nui Botanical Gardens

We stayed in Room #1 in the main building w/ shared bathrooms. Upon arrival, I couldn’t find the front office. A guest told me I should have received an email or text with the room code and check-in instructions. I never received either. Since I booked through Expedia, I also checked for messages there but found nothing. When I contacted the owner about not receiving the check-in information, she didn’t seem concerned. We had to leave our belongings in the unlocked room until we eventually received the code. She later texted that she had been paddling and was busy. We hardly slept both nights. The room was small and hot. The guest staying across from us was awake most of both nights, talking on his phone, walking around, and repeatedly entering his door code, causing loud beeping each time. Because there is no air conditioning, and it was hot and humid, the fan provided was too loud to sleep with, and we couldn’t leave the door open for airflow. The refrigerator in our room had been turned off and smelled. The beds were comfortable, but the towels were rough. The showers were unkept, some had no lighting, and the handheld shower head kept slipping from its holder. The advertised continental breakfast was disappointing and consisted of a granola bar and a toddler-sized applesauce pouch. I saw cockroaches in the kitchen. Future guests should know that religious décor/Christian materials are displayed throughout the property, bedrooms, hallways, bathrooms, living areas.

This is a super nice adult only hotel. Nice and quiet. Staff is wonderful. On point. Hotel car service is excellent with luxury cars available. The room is nice. Large and spacious. My only critique is that the restaurant has a limited menu. But selection is great. Highly recommend.

Good place to stay, right on the beach.

The grounds are great and the staff was awesome. Sharee which I probably spelled wrong was awesome. We had some issue with our first unit and she immediately moved us to a new unit the next morning and was very helpful on any question we had or anything we needed. Just remember they are all Individual owned so some are nice and some are not. That’s my only complaint I wish you could pick a unit other than just the size of it. Other the. That the pool is awesome. And the beach it literally a 5 minute walk down a small hill I have no idea where the people stayed tgat said it’s a long way away. We even had a very top unit closes to the entrance. Anyway great 2 weeks I would stay there again for sure very quiet area and close to everything.

Great relaxed resorts pool food is ok not great but the restaurants on property are superb

The room was spotless. Staff were very helpful. It was convenient to have a cafe with that was reasonably priced on the premises. We were able to refill our water bottles free of charge in the hotel. We would definitely stay there again. The location was great with the beach located across the street and a multi cuisine food truck stop 5 minutes away
