“Disappointing. On arrival to the room, there was a distinct musty smell. Not pleasant and still present after opening the windows. No WiFi in the room. Breakfast was almost non existent. For a pub/hotel that promotes its food service and quality, a couple of boxes of cereal and a few miniature pastries was not what was expected or advised. A cooked choice would be expected (and was advertised)”

“No esta mal, pero esta mas destinado para gente mayor y de la tercera edad, las habilidades no estan mal, pero se hecha de menos un refriguerador, o aire acondicionado. El servicio de limpieza pesimo, se llevan las toallas sucias y no te dejan limpias, no te cambian sabanas aunque esten sucias, solo te estiran la cama y poco mas...no se lo que esperaba encontrar. Pero no es tan malo.”

Sure, the rooms could do with a refresh, but they were clean and comfortable. And all for considerably less than the price of the local chain motels!”

“Initial impression- good. Car park all gravel but plenty of parking. Reception - water on offer but it was empty. Were told our booking didn’t include breakfast but included 20% off food and soft drinks. Nice because we had forgotten. No information on where restaurant or bars not a big problem but it is nice to be told. We booked a table for dinner. Was given our room key. We asked if it was possible to walk along the river from the back of the restaurant… no access it is only from the other...

“I didn't actually stay at the Bell, I was taken into hospital with Pneumonia but I wanted to say how fabulous Catherine was after Expedia had neglected to send me a confirmation email so I was unable to cancel in the time frame required. The customer service from Catherine was over and above, she is a reason I would want to stay at the Bell. It's rare to receive support, understanding and recognition that customer service is the backbone of a business and I can't praise her enough. I”

“We recently stayed at Longs Inn in Woburn for one night and, unfortunately, were quite disappointed. The property is in need of some updating and, overall, we found it looked tired, outdated and rather scruffy. Our bedroom had clearly been dusted and hoovered, and the bed itself was comfortable, but the furniture was very old and the room generally felt like it needed some investment. The bathroom was particularly disappointing, with black mould around the edges of the shower. The bedroom...
