“A lovely hotel and restaurant. The room was very good, roomy with a huge bed which was super comfortable. Bathroom was quite small with nowhere to hang towels but shower was excellent. Breakfast was from a menu selection and was excellent quality. Staff were friendly and helpful and there was a lovely atmosphere. There was live music on the Friday night which stopped at 11pm. “The room wasn’t clean, the headboard on the bed was worn and ripped, underneath the bed was filthy and full of hairs, a previous guests glasses were left in the room, a small used soap bar used unhygienic and not enough for 2 guests, other items were also not replenished, despite having a previous stay at this hotel which was good this one did not live up to the previous standard and the member of staff on reception was also quite rude”
