“A very cute place to stay in a lovely market town. Parking nearby (free on Sundays and overnight). Access to the rooms, due to the nature of the historic building, is not the easiest (uneven floors, narrow corridors and stairs). The room was absolutely lovely though; the bed was comfortable with quality bedlinen and pillows. The breakfast buffet was welcome - a small table and chair would have been welcome. A bedside light would have been welcome too. With it being such an old building,...

“Nice touch the fridge and microwave the bathroom and room looked clean But the walls are to thin Close to the road the traffic is all u hear . The people above every move they make you can hear, doors closing and feet stomping . ”

“The place was very rundown we had no plug in bathroom sink, it was very noisy at night, no hair dryer, only one towel and the room needed decorating. The room wasn't serviced.We had to go and ask for tea bags and milk ect.”

“Prima kamer. Genoeg handdoeken ed, uitstekende douche. Alleen waren de bedden erg slap en wiebelig. Wel goed geslapen. In de kamer was het erg warm, er was geen airco. Alleen een ventilator. De ramen konden een klein beetje open.”

“昨年コルチェスターに来た時に立地が良いのと伝統あるホテルらしいので、その時から今年はこちらにお世話になろうと決めていました。 古い建物なのでエレベーターやエアコンがないのは不便でしたが、朝食や朝食の場所の素晴らしさに感動しました。来年は来れるかわかりませんが機会があればまた利用したいと思います。チェックイン、チェックアウト時に重いカバンを運んでくださって感謝しています。ありがとうございました。”
