So the hotel is outdated, but that was it really. Staff were polite and courteous, rooms were adequately sized, everything was clean and we had bottled water, tea, coffee and a kettle. Honestly this is a good hotel if you are passing through or aren't fussed with it being fancy. Had a good night's sleep.

Great hotel for a nights sleep in a good location. Area is very nice, don't let the old and tired look put you off. Big room, everything you needed, clean comfy bed, hot shower. Staff were super helpful and friendly. Reception manned 24/7. Included breakfast to take on the go was great. The sausage and bacon baps were great. Ideal for stopping off to sleep and head out in the morning. Plenty of free parking too. Restaurant next door was superb, and very good value.

Very easy to find, staff super polite and helpful. Loads of free parking, plenty of shops and places to eat nearby. My friend and I stayed in a twin room (15) and it was great, no issues at all. Hoping to stay again later in the year and definitely recommend

Room quiet, comfortable and clean. Car parking easy. Staff polite and helpful. Breakfast a little disappointing ( my fault for not checking when I booked) “grab and go “ came in a paper bag. The room was very hot at night but there was a portable electric fan in the room which helped ( we did visit in the summer) The bus to Manchester was outside the hotel and frequent and was £2 for a single into the city centre
