hotel room was clean and comfy, maybe a bit outdated. Unlike other reviews, my room was a good temperature, but I did have a window. There was noise outside from the work happening on a nearby tram stop but it wasn't disruptive. I'd stay again.

This is an old hotel from the cold war. Room was clean but bed frames old. Furniture like tables were from the cheapest range in IKEA. Some corners were chipped off. It's next to a late night bar so no lack of noise past 2am. It's close to the bus station, though. 10 mins stroll from Manchester Piccadilly train station, and the Corn Exchange on the other side.

I stayed in a twin room without windows and nothing prepared me for how awful it would turn out to be. I thought there’s got to be some kind of ventilation. I was wrong, only a desk fan and a standing fan. There was no ceiling light in the room either, only three large bedside tables. Fortunately there was a ceiling light at the entrance and the bathroom. The room was acceptably clean though. The hotel as a whole is dilapidated. You get what you pay for I guess!

Arrived a little flustered, due to transportation problems, just after midnight and the staff were brilliant. Front desk agent, managing some of the booking saw I was tired and so gave me a nice room to go to, really spacious. And I love the new carpet. Not sure why the hotel has any bad reviews as stayed a few times and never had any issues. Anyway, great staff and that carpet is mint.

Staff were super helpful. The room was clean & large, and on a whole, the property was great. There was no air conditioning, however a fan was provided. We originally booked for a room with no windows, but staff offered up an upgrade for a really reasonable price - which was needed as there was no air con and it was a warm day.
