“Lovely old pub in beautiful location, excellent breakfast, with home made preserves. The dinner menu looked very exciting but sadly we were dining elsewhere. Staff most helpful, carrying luggage and providing information. There is an onsite brewery! The night was extremely hot, so difficult to sleep, but very comfortable bed and well equipped room. The bathroom could have done with refurbishment to the tiling and taps, but was acceptable. There is a large parking area, by the river garden.”

Not so nice; room at 3rd floor with no elevator and heavy bags. We hoped for a nice view on the Prom, but for that you had to stand up at the window to look down from this attic room. After 8am no longer free parking so you need to set the alarm and go down to pay before breakfast.”
