Hotel, was really clean and tidy, the breakfast was lovely, stayed with 2 dogs the hotel went above and beyond to make the dogs feel comfortable with beds and a useful goody bag, hotel is in a great location, will definitely be staying here again

Beautiful room in a lovely hotel. Staff were attentive and friendly. Extra touches in the room like homemade biscuits and a little decanter of port were thoughtful and much appreciated. Really nice finishes in room and bathroom. Comfy bed and a fantastic fan for warm nights! Definitely recommend a drink in the courtyard. We'll definitely be back.

Hotel is in a great location, opposite the park. It is very stylishly decorated and the breakfast was great. The downside was that it was during the hot weather and the room was extremely hot, even though there was a fan in it. The windows only opened a little, probably due to safety reasons. It was nicely decorated and the bed was comfortable. Parking was quite a way down the road, but we were given a pass, so not charged. The garden was nice to have an evening drink.

Good location. About 8mins walk into town. Very few car parking spaces in front (5) but we managed to get one. Staff were friendly but it was harder to find them than expected! Ringing the bell for attention didn’t elicit a reaction on check in or checkout and had to look for someone. Room was good size (we had room 7, called ‘Excellent’ on the website). Nice big metal bath and shower. Pretty good for the money although the toilet was very slow refilling after a flush - about five mins before it could be used again, and it was slightly disconcerting to see a bucket underneath the sink. Albeit no leaks were seen! Water pressure was a bit low too and there wasn’t a view from any of the windows - just pretty ugly rooftops - but overall a nice room. Breakfast was nice too - not standout but good - and we enjoyed dinner at The Old Courthouse in town (the hotel restaurant was shut on Monday)

Excellent hotel Well located Great breakfast and evening meals Good communal lounge areas Quirky specious room (double) Only downside was that we found the room very warm,(we had a couple of warm April days) there was a fan it didn’t really cool the room, just glad it wasn’t peak Summer. Limited parking onsite 4 spaces, but enough on street parking so no issue. Enjoyable stay overall.

We were really impressed with this hotel. It has some lovely features and creates a warm stylish ambience. I slept really well in a very comfortable bed. One of the staff members rang to let me know the electric car charging space was available. I had excellent service from all the staff I came into contact with. Oh, and the food was excellent too.

Nice hotel with good service. Some part could do with some improvement, some areas of the room are dated but I suppose that is also sometimes an appeal. Reason why I say this is the radiator was leaking in the bathroom which was frustrating. Breakfast was very nice and good value.

Room was lovely although the bathroom flooded when you had the shower on full. Breakfast was lovely. Shame that the restaurant wasn’t open in the evening & that room service wasn’t available however this didn’t spoil the stay.

The room was what I would describe as pure comfort luxury. We loved staying at the Park and my only regret was that it wasn’t for longer. One thing I would advise is booking ahead for the restaurant as we didn’t and it was booked on the Saturday evening when we arrived.
