“Cute place, but curved stairway to bed/bath tough to navigate with luggage, especially coming down. Light switch at bottom and top of stairs. Great location for restaurants! Delicious sea bass, but have the cook remove the bones. Good wines by the glass. Everyone super nice.”

“I stayed here for one night only as I was passing through Valetta on my last night in Malta and must say I was very impressed. Communication with the host was extremely easy and they allowed bags to be stored even after checkout. The property was in a great location near the centre of Valetta with lots of bars and restaurants nearby, with the room itself very large in size and even came with a seperate living space. I would definitely stay here again if I were to visit Malta's capital city once...

“Great location to use as a base and communication from the property hosts was good. The word ‘luxury’ should not be used to describe this property. The sofa, cushions and curtains were all stained. The sunbeds around the pool were disgusting. The ceiling in the bedroom had patches of mould. The air con turned off after 45 mins and the boiler leaked twice. We also had a problem with ants with no solution offered. ”

“Property was interesting and comfortable, however, for people with mobility issues I would not recommend it, too many steps. The property needs a mirror near an electrical plug so one can dry hair. No electric shaving ability. It’s a good location if the weather is hot. It’s a bit of a walk from the centre of activities, but not far. Overall, comfortable and pretty well equipped.”

“The location is very convenient, and we walked all over easily. The rooms are spacious and bright, very well appointed. The host provided easy access and answered questions promptly. We highly recommend the Carmelita and Valletta as a place to visit.”

“Awesome surprise find in Valletta and found free parking just done the hill. It’s not 5 star perfect inside and never find a sofa bed comfortable to sit on. However we loved it very well situated for the city. Couple of little issues that staff sorted immediately such as kettle not working and had new one virtually straight away . Would happily stay again ”
