“The bedroom has a very comfy bed with lovely views. The restaurant wasn’t so good, tables were sticky and not clean at all. Breakfast was chaos, bread wasn’t there had to ask for it to be stocked up. There were no plates for toast, the only ones we saw were all dirty. The waiter didn’t know what muesli was.”

“Great location for attempting The Three Peaks Challenge (hiking possible straight from the premises’ car park). Really friendly staff, attentive and very helpful. Cheap and cheerful accommodation - don’t forget that the price includes continental breakfast, which is more than generous - so a real bargain. “Loved the old 17th century beams in the rooms and the uneven floors. Property was very quiet - even with the Football World Cup semi-final on while we were there. Staff were all incredibly helpful and loved the breakfast. 100% recommend and would love to take my dog next time as they are very dog friendly (they get a sausage at breakfast!).”
