We were quick in and out and really just needed comfortable beds, a cool room, showers and breakfast. All of these were wonderful. It’s in a cute neighborhood close to the river promenade/bikepath. Great dining within walking distance. Excellent beds, room temp, and stylish amenities. Loved the design. It being Mainz, birthplace of printing press the hotel decor references that in multiple subtle and stylish ways. Very cool hotel.

We stayed just one night during a driving trip, but the location was convenient, paid parking was available and staff was friendly with good English- quite nice when your German is not so good! We had a two bunk room, quite tiny by U.S. standards, but completely in line with European.

The room was a good size, clean and comfortable with a great shower. The breakfast was good. Dinner was limited so we eat out at a very good Punjab restaurant a couple of minutes walk away.

Very nice front desk people, very helpful. And the breakfast was great. Now the negative: The room was small and sparse - no shelves, drawers, and one small counter/desk. No extra pillow or blanket…and I don’t really like having to call and wait for housekeeping to bring things like that. The controls for lights, heat, blinds were extremely hard to navigate, no instructions at all just tiny icons that weren’t understandable. The shower sprays water all over the floor. The young woman at the food/drink counter during the day was quite unfriendly, not a hello, please or thank you.

Can’t go wrong with this hotel. I stayed here for 4 nights and everything was perfect. The room was pretty clean, staff were nice, water was hot and pressure was strong. Basically this hotel is exactly as advertised and I would definitely recommend it!

Great Hotel

Great hotel with friendly staff. We hired bikes from right outside the hotel and cycled down to the old town via the river, which was great fun. The breakfast is outstanding!

Good hotel in a nice location, walkable to the city center. Room is smaller than the ones we usually have in USA. Good breakfast. Early check in was available only with additional fee (10 euro per hour). We knew that we would arrive early and communicated with the hotel about early check in. We were told that it was possible if there are rooms available. Additional charge was not mentioned.

Everything was nice but if I have to point one thing is duvet was little bit thin. It was acceptable but it would be more great if they could change more good one! However other things are great! Great location for walking neighborhood of the hotel! I enjoyed walking around the neighborhood in the morning! Overall it was awesome!

The bad, the hotel was as full capacity so they could only give us one key for the room, and one of the elevators was out of service. These were not too big of problems, we were in the first floor and could easily take the stairs. The good, the staff were very helpful, the breakfast was well stocked and good. My only suggestion would be to add bacon. But, they had eggs, chicken sausage, cereals, yogurts, broachen with meats and cheeses, plus much more. The location is great, they only have 30 parking spots, but there are some lots near by, I never had a problem finding a spot. There is a large gathering area on the main floor, this is the breakfast area as well.
