“Perfect place for a romantic winter getaway. Stunning grounds, great room with lovely views, the lodge was cozy and the food was great - the breakfast in particular was amazing. Dinner was expensive but it didn’t disappoint and convenient onsite. No TV in the room but no need with the cozy fireplace. Bed was comfortable with nice linen. “The only issue I have is that the property asks you to write down your credit / debit card details on the registration card - it's ok to put it straight onto the PMS, but writing it down on a piece of paper goes against every single insurance policy the banks have. I've said this to them last year February - one-and-half years later, they still do it. This has stopped at hotels now over a decade ago. Get on with the times, it's time for an update.”
