“This hotel was unclean and due to the issues below we chose not to stay at the hotel and instead to book somewhere else in the area at the last minute. Upon arrival we noticed issues with our room, which was room 3. There was mold on the bathroom ceiling and damp patches in the main ceiling. We had been given a fan to cope with the heat however this was laced eith centimetres of heavy, thick dust making the conditions in the room unpleasant. “Just got home after a lovely stay at Rowton Castle. The staff were amazing could not do enough for you. Food was good and excellently presented. The grounds were amazingly kept. First visit but definitely not the last.”

“I think small details are lacking in this place, they need a grounds person to tidy things up as it gives a bad impression even before you enter the hotel, then inside the furniture is very tired and the place needs a refresh. Staff were really good but let down by their hotel itself. Food was average at best!”

“This is a lovely little place in the heart of Wrexham. The only issue, when UP in the upstairs room (not the lobby), was the WiFi, which was a bit too weak to do any large uploading or large emails. Aside from that - just a terrific place.”
