“It’s a beautiful property. Comfortable bed. Room is very small: bed, refrigerator, tv, dresser, iron / iron board. No desk or chair. Some muggy smell but not something extreme. That did call me to offer me the Vacation Club but did not insist. Overall it’s good to just sleep and bathe. If you want to sit back you can do it in the porch or lobby area but not in your room unless you do it in bed. ”

“Staff is very courteous and helpful. Clean rooms and nice sheets. Stayed for several nights. Only one criticism, I stayed on the first floor, people smoke right outside the doors on the benches and when the door is opened during and after their smoking, the smoke gets sucked into the hotel and smells the hallways up with toxic smoke fumes instead of healthy nice smelling air. “The rooms are very well designed I assume from the day they were built as the architects drawings are in the hallway showing the exact layout from the 1930s. The Speakeasy downstairs was very cozy and felt like an early 20th century Inn should feel like. I have lived in Bucks County PA, stayed at those Inns and the only big difference was the plumbing at the Mimlyn Inn was modern. You will have a grand time here with a large group or a couple friends visiting Luray and the Shenandoah region.”
