Great place that's kind of off the beaten path outside Charlottsville. room was clean, bed comfortable, plenty of hot water at a good pressure and the breakfast was very good. I'd definitely stay here again and recommend you do to if passing through Orange, VA.

Bethany was vey helpful at check in and recommended a great restaurant, Main St Tavern, right down the road. There was just something about this place, old school motel charm, unlike all the newer chain motels. Beautiful grounds and views of the distant mountains. Breakfast was open for business early, I walked down at 5:55 am thinking I’d get a cup of coffee and breakfast was all ready. Very fair price and the town has a cool vibe. I’d stay again in a heartbeat.

Clean and attractive hotel with generally good amenities and fittings. Some maintenance items required (my room's wash handbasin had no plug or the mixer tap had no fitting to close the drain. Shower control became defective - could not be turned off, plumbers had to be sent for). I'm not a fan of "keurig" coffee machines as I don't think they make a pleasant or large enough brew. Breakfast fare was comprehensive and well-presented. I would recommend this hotel to others however.

Great location; close to restaurants and shops but being up on the hill it has a feeling of being isolated and calm. Breakfast selection was typical but good. Strength and speed of the WIFI was excellent.

Was pleasantly surprised in the comfort, ease of use, and uniqueness of this hotel. It is close to downtown Orange, VA, with the feel of being in the mountains. The hotel is dated but kept very clean with comfortable furnishings. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast offered with a view of the mountains from the dining area.
