Edgell Covered Bridge is located on River Rd in Lyme NH and crosses Clay Brook. It was built in the late 1800's and is listed in the World Guide of Covered Bridges (WGCB), number 29-05-11, and New Hampshire covered bridge #25.

It is rumored that Edgell Covered Bridge was built by an 18 year old man in the late 1800's. As with some other covered bridges in the state of New Hampshire, it's roof caved in during a major snowstorm, due to the weight of the snow in February 1982.

The Appalachian Trail is one of the longest trail and most demanding adventure one can go on. That time I only hiked a section of the trail. After an afternoon of thunderstorm and pouring rain, the shelter of Trapper John is a comfortable break, to dry off a little. Start your adventure and #TakeAHike

Sweet historic town. You may want to print maps in advance or take advantage of wifi to download them for offline use because cell service and other connectivity is virtually nonexistent until you get a few miles out of town.
