We thought we had the wrong address... it’s one of those trips where you realized you are going to stay at Bates Motel for one night. Everything was super tired and it felt like a time capsule from 1983. Nothing had been updates except from the shower curtain (no hint here on the Bates Motel comparison). We also learned from our friends whom we visited that the Hotel was going to change owners within the next month and that a major renovation/ tear-down was in the plans for this hotel. I would have liked to pay a lot less for this experience!

This place can’t get bulldozed fast enough. It’s filthy; there were at least three different people’s hair on the wall in the shower. I wouldn’t walk barefoot in the room due to the carpet being so bad. I should’ve just slept in my car!

This is a local hotel so my family got there at 3pm and I didn’t get off work until 6:15pm. The desk clerk would not let my family in their rooms until I got there because they were in my name although they had a receipt of the reservations and I called to verify he was my husband. Also they would not give a late checkout to 2pm to accommodate my telework. We paid for 2 rooms for 2 nights.

Pleasant Stay

A pleasant stay despite the lack of services indicated on the site (COVID). Did have an urn of hot coffee in the morning and fridge in the room which was unexpected. Easy access to freeway but quiet country feel.

No Dogs next time

Our stay was very comfortable, and we enjoyed our room so much. However, the next time we stay, I will request a room that isn't beside (close to) another room with dogs. Our room was beside a room with big dogs that barked a lot. At around 12:30 that night, the occupant began a loud lecture with his little girl(s). The door to their room began opening a lot after that, and every time the dogs began barking. This went on until after 2:30am. I'm not sure what was happening.
