Louisville

Landscape of Louisville
Another great museum in Louisville, Kentucky-home to the Kentucky Derby. This museum is for both, the avid and the casual baseball fans. Includes live demos of how baseball bats are made. You even get a mini baseball bat as a souvenir at the end of the tour.
Helped celebrate the Belle of Louisville's 100th birthday with a cruise up the Ohio River.
Toured the factory and museum for a glimpse of baseball history. Made even this baseball mom a fan.
At the Louisville Slugger Museum, this bat towers over the museum and most of the surrounding trees. You can stand under it and it will appear as if it is about to fall top of you.

What's in a name?

Well, oddly enough, at Cave Hill Cemetery, there's a hill, with a cave.

A natural spring spills forth from this 246 ft deep cave. Standing upright, the cave could be explored for about 100ft. No, it's not allowed... There is a colony of bats that inhabit the cave. Bats pouring from a cave at dusk in a cemetery would be quite a visual.
