“Our room was on ground floor with a hot tub. Facilities were good and the bed was very comfortable. Some elements were a little tired. Staff were outstanding and responsive to all requests and questions. Nice dining area and presentation. Great central location to Grasmere village. Our only issue is that parking can be a lottery - but staff were happy to help.”

“Latimer House is in the perfect location for Bowness & Windermere. The property has 5 parking places on a first come first basis (the accommodation has 7 rooms) but the block has many free parking available and so parking was no problem at all. ”

“A very satisfied stay at the Hawksmoor Guest House. The staff were very welcoming and friendly throughout our stay. Breakfast was amazing and cooked from scratch. Our room was available earlier than stated and was very clean and comfortable. The location was great too, just a 15 minute walk to the town and Lake Windermere.
